As chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, he plays a leadership role in considering legislation involving the courts, criminal justice, civil law, and other matters affecting Tennessee’s legal system.

His public service reflects a sustained engagement with the institutions that shape the administration of justice in Tennessee. In September 2026, the Tennessee Supreme Court appointed Andrew to serve on its Board of Professional Responsibility, the body responsible for overseeing attorney discipline under the Court’s authority. The appointment adds another dimension to a career devoted to the practice, governance, and professional standards of law.

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from East Tennessee State University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Since establishing his legal practice in 2008, he has developed a career combining private legal representation with legislative leadership and professional service.

His accomplishments include receiving the Tennessee Bar Association President’s Award in 2013 and recognition from organizations including The National Trial Lawyers and the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
